Nagykőrös – Castrocaro Terme e Terra del Sole

In the spring of 1993, with the help of Dr. György Kárpáthy, professor at the College of Theatre and Film Arts, Mayor János Kiss travelled to Italy for a Health Publishing and Medical Tourism Conference, which was held in this small town. This town has a 2,000-year-old spa culture and has been living for 155 years specifically from the spa tourism industry. /7000 inhabitants, 33 hotels and motels!/ /Our town has joined the Association of Spa Towns because of its potential in the field of spa tourism! The town has offered to cooperate in supporting the training and staying of Italian-speaking young people in Nagykőrös in the field of spa tourism. Therefore, it is important to provide Italian language training in high schools and to strengthen the loosened ties with the Italian city. The Town Twinning Charter was signed with Massimo Ravaglioli, then Deputy Mayor, on 29 September 1994.
