NAGYKŐRÖS-REGHIN

On July 1-2, 1992, at the Dutch-Hungarian Conference organized by the Reformed Teacher Training College of Nagykőrös (as it was then called), Mayor János Kiss met the Honorary Pastor József Demeter, who invited Dr. László Novák, a member of the Reformed Church there, to speak at the conference in May 1993. Here they met Hungarian local government representatives who were preparing our visit to Sasregen on 6 December 1993, when the Reverend Gyula Pintér preached in the Reformed Church of Reghin. Negotiations with the Reghin Municipality on that day made it possible to build up relations between the two towns. The document was signed on 15 November 1994 in Nagykőrös with Mayor Pop Eremia.
